Grandma’s Curry Eggs

Fragrant, creamy hard-boiled eggs simmered in a rich curry sauce – a traditional South African favorite that’s always a winner.

 6 Hard-boiled eggspeeled and halved
 1 tbsp Flour
 4 tbsp Vinegar
 1 tbsp Sugar
 1 tbsp Butter
 1 tsp Baking soda
 1 tbsp Curry powder
 Meat stock/extract

Melt butter in a pan, add chopped onions and fry until browned.

Mix the dry ingredients well, then add the vinegar and meat extract, and stir thoroughly.

Add this mixture to the onions and cook until thickened.

Pour the sauce over the cleaned, chopped hard-boiled eggs before serving warm.
